Can’t unsee the very “Sumo” face, with little stubby legs and short arms… we cannot eat much rice or ramen, but oatmeal and soups are staples here, and this is a simple solution. The reviews are informative (no power switch [now obvious], so don’t plug it in until the fixin’s are in place).

Pretty sure, if this is like almost every other rice cooker out there, the power switch is the sheep’s tongue. So when you plug it in, it doesn’t start heating anything until you push that down, then automatically switches to the “warm” setting once the cook cycle is done. You would have to unplug it to shut it off though.

Yeah I read through them too… I only saw one that mentioned that it heated up as soon as they plugged it in though. Other’s did complain about having switch issues (not staying on, etc), so maybe that person just got a bad one too.
