Would this help put back my slipped disk? How about my sciatica? It sucks getting old!

I’ve had a Teeter Hangup for a few years now, and it’s helped my back issues quite a bit. Nothing beats exercise, of course, but inverting has helped me align, especially since all day you’re basically dealing with gravity in the one direction. I read somewhere that it’s best to do inversions in the morning. I do mine at random times in the day.

If you haven’t seen a chiropractor, I might recommend first consulting with one to make sure inversion is okay. It’s good for most people, I believe, but I actually got a prescription to purchase an inversion table.

I have heard that this model Teeter NX4002 is a blemished version of the Teeter NEXT model is this true? If so how is it blemished scratched, dented? Still functional? Is there a warranty?

+1 on the ‘…sucks getting old’, but it sure beats the alternative! I’ve used inversion before (not this one however) for my lower back issues, and it really does help! I would use mine before going to the chiropractor, and that seems to help with having an easier time with alignment.
Again, can’t speak for this table, but wish I still had my old one to use!

Our blemished models also come with our full 5-year manufacturer’s warranty so you can rest assured we stand behind your purchase. “Blemished” refers to minor superficial flaws like paint scuffs. Aside from those superficial flaws, our blemished inversion tables have been inspected to ensure that the structural integrity and function remains of the highest quality.

I have a pinched sciatica also. I asked my chiropractor about inversion tables and without reservation he said “buy one” So I did. I bought the Teeter 960 which is similar but just a few more bells and whistles. I’d have bought this one had it appeared 2 weeks ago.

Hi All,

I work in the Teeter Shipping Dept… We are shipping Brand New Tables for this event

I thought this machine would help me a lot. Unfortunately I was dizzy most of the time. It may work well for other people though.

While inverting, you must listen to your body. If you feel dizzy or nauseous it is important to return to the upright position to allow your body to rest. To help prevent dizziness after inverting and returning upright, be sure to stop at the horizontal position (0 degrees) for 30 to 60 seconds or more. This allows your inner ear to readjust to being upright.

We recommend that you start your inversion program slowly so that your body can get used to the motion of inversion. Begin at an angle of 20-30 degrees and work up to greater angles over time as you feel comfortable. This will allow your inner ear time to acclimate to the movement and help prevent discomfort from dizziness.
