Less than a month ago the tall grey sold for $59.99, now they’re $20 less. I guess that’s the luck of the draw though I would hope Woot would understand those who spent $20 more less than a month ago wouldn’t appreciate a significant drop in price so soon.
Well if you feel bad at all or in any way, you could always offer a free shipping coupon or some other perk to those of us who feel somewhat taken. That would be a neighborly thing to do for those of us who have been long time loyal Wooters.
I’m sorry, but this is a fairly obnoxious way to go through life. You were happy with the price you paid, but now you want to stop others form getting a better deal so you don’t feel bad? If it wasn’t worth it to spend the money a month ago then you made a mistake. If it was worth it, then why try and deprive others of a better deal? We should all pay more so you don’t feel like you spent too much money?
Woot - please drop your prices as much as you can all the time. I don’t care if I just bought something and now you’re offering it for less - maybe I’ll even buy another if the drop is big enough.
Heh. Anyway, looking at the quantities and the fact that it’s on Sellout, it looks like this is remaining inventory from the previous sale. Clearing out the warehouse.
Who’s trying to deprive anyone from getting a better deal? I didn’t ask them to raise the price here… did I? I find it obnoxious when people read something into what someone said that’s not there. Thunderthighs said “We do our best to avoid price drops too soon”. Why do you think they would try to do that? Give that a thought before you get down off your high horse.
For what it’s worth, I find Teva to run true to size. I own seven pair of Teva from sandals to closed toe sandals to chukkas and these Durban and they all have run true to size. Hope that helps.
Well said. I agree. If someone felt the price was right and bought it a month ago, how can begging later for a freebie because remaining inventory is liquidated at a lower price be justified? It smacks of sulking, whining, and pitiful regret. Grow up.
Sorry to add confusion, but I don’t find Tevas to run large. Unless the other brands I buy run small. I’m a 9 1/2 and last time got the tall grey boot in a 10. Loved them, but too large ( felt like mote than a half size). so I gave to my son. Coincidentally So glad to to order the 9 now with a price drop. Coincidentally at a shoe store with half price Teva sandals yesterday , 9s fit like a glove.
