You should get a confirmation email pretty quickly. However, you can also look on your MY ACCOUNT (link at the top of the page) to see if it shows in your list of purchases.

Thanks for your good help & good info, too, that was the 1st to have a web link how to check on our orders & shipment status, too:
“Use FedEx’s Track by Reference Feature. Leave the account no. blank. Enter your order number as the reference (2nd box), destination country and zip code. Click Track.”
“NOTE: To get your order number: Check on My Account. Click on the order in question and then click on the link to view your receipt. Your order number will be on the receipt.”
Just wanted you to know you’re appreciated too, despite our questions & complaining about orders.
Sent an e-mail to service@woot.com and received a great response 20 minutes later giving me the FedEx Tracking Number & web link for it where the FedEx Tracking Number status reported that my order was picked up July 9th and then arrived & departed the FedEx location on July 10th.
I never was sent tracking either. However I just did the Alt Ref tracking trick and found out mine should be here Wednesday. I was starting to wonder. Seems all is good.
Damn… This sucks. My Tivo is just 5hrs from my hands yet it sat in Hutchins, TX all day Saturday from 7:49am (which according to Fedex Home, that’s a working day for Home!) So now Monday rolls around and that’s not a working day for Home! So I could of potentially had this late Saturday had someone at FedEx would’ve put 2 and 2 together.
Seriously WOOT! You need to hire me in your warehouse and shipping department… That place will be running silky smooth!
My TiVo was just delivered to my house about an hour ago according to FedEx. I hope the rest of you get yours soon. It also appears that Woot finally updated the order with the tracking information.
got mine today. at least one button on the remote does not work. tivo will not replace, says it’s woot’s issue. tivo cannot activate the box, and they don’t know why.
my faith in both tivo and woot are beginning to waver.
Yeah, well… I spoke too soon. When I got home yesterday, there was no package waiting for me. My local FedEx office is looking into it, but I haven’t heard back from them. I e-mailed Woot this morning to see if they can figure out what happened. I thought it was odd that the delivery time was so early considering FedEx never delivers to my house in the morning.

Yes, whiba, you’ve been a big help. I think I’ll first try to move my router downstairs and ethernet it to the TV, hoping that my computer functions still operate with the new placement.
Looks like they just sold out.I feel good about this buy

For those that have received theirs already – did Woot ship them in a brown box, or just slap the shipping label on the tivo box itself?
I know they’ve just slapped the shipping label on the thing they’ve shipped a few times in the past – I’m hoping that’s not the case here.

Your 1 Year warranty is with Tivo you may need to remind them of this and don’t take no for an answer.
Woot’s Tivo DVR works great with free public Over-The-Air Antenna TV when I tried it out today where I’m viewing 1080i OTA broadcasts on my HDTV looking super over my HDMI connection to this TiVo HD XL DVR!
Is it taking anyone else forever to have their subscription activated?.. I just see this message on Tivo’s website: “We’re still processing your activation. Try again in 24 hours.”
My Tivo unit keeps complaining about not being activated. Frankly I expected this to be sort of an instant thing, and I’m very disappointed so far.

Your best bet is to contact TiVo service, perhaps by phone, and see what they have to say. It sounds like a subscription issue or something wrong with their network. Chances are they can solve the problem pretty quickly or, at least, get you pointed in the right direction.

Thanks Gatzby… I was told that my issue had to do with the software version on my box, and that I’d have to wait for a software update – which usually happens within 72 hrs.
Know this isn’t woot’s fault, but really need to rant here… HUH? 72 hrs for a software update? There’s no menu option to instantly check for one?.. I have to wait until my tivo deems I’m ready for a software update?
My bluray player, my tv, etc… all devices that I don’t pay any monthly price for all have an option to check for the latest software version in their menu. I pay no fees to them and they provide me with the latest software in a timely manner. Tivo, on the other hand takes a large sum of money from me for their servie – and then I can’t even use the damn thing for 72 hrs? Shame, I’d recommend against Tivo to anyone I know now. Fools.
Edit: The biggest problem with TiVo is that it doesn’t phone home frequently enough… and there’s no way to adjust that.
For instance, I tried to schedule a program to record online and got this message:
“PLEASE NOTE: Since this program airs within 1 hour, you might miss it if your DVR named “Bedroom” doesn’t connect to the TiVo Service in time. We recommend scheduling this program directly on your TiVo DVR, otherwise it will simply be recorded the next time it airs.”
Isn’t this supposed to be one of TiVo’s features? You forget to record your show… just hop online and tell it to record… unless it starts soon, in which case… better drive home really quick.
