OK, just think of me as a dummy, but I haven’t bought anything for awhile from Woot and things have changed. I decided to by one of the $8 tees. I know it says the discount will show when I hit the place order button, but the page only seems to give me an option to pay with Amazon pay. I’m a bit leery of hitting a pay button with the shirt still at $19. Are there additional steps once you click on Amazon pay before you are locked in? Thanks
It’s after you go through Amazon Pay and the discount will show BEFORE you hit the “place order” button. You just won’t see it until you get to that page.
I know I do this about 8000 times a day and I still hesitate. I promise, by clicking through Amazon Pay you are not locked into a purchase at that point. You will still have a confirmation screen before you confirm the order…the order WILL NOT be placed until you hit that ‘place order’ button, and you WILL see the discount before you have to place your order.
Also, if you do get click happy like I do sometimes and click too fast…you have up to 2 hours to cancel your shirt order at no penalty in the ‘stuff you bought’ section of the website.
Another question, sorry. It looks like payment must be with Amazon pay., That’s ok, I have an Amazon account, BUT the t-shirt discount shows as “Prime Discount” and I don’t have Amazon Prime. It also shows free shipping that I thought was for Prime Members. Will I get charged retro-actively for the undiscounted amount when the system discovers I do not have Amazon prime? Thanks again.
EDIT: Almost bought and then had to cancel because I realized I made a mistake on sizing. It’s really confusing that a women’s classic tee-shirt would be smaller than a same-sized women’s fitted t-shirt by a substantial amount. Fitted sounds like it should be smaller than classic!
