@bsmith1 - I think there may have been an OR mix up. Looks more like gender reassignment than vasectomy. Similar outcome, but sweeping, strokes of the scalpel. Center cuts instead of a little off on the sides.
One sort of wonders how they found that the flexed position with face fixed staring down was needed.
The skill and training needed is pretty amazing. What price can you put on restored or saved eye sight?

Ouch, condolences. Somewhat surprised they did not give you Acetaminophen with codeine maybe 1/2 hour before the ride home. Perhaps not to numb unexpected bleeding.
Local anesthetic took care of most the pain the day of. Just felt uncomfortable on the way home. They didn’t want to prescribe narcotics, so just over the counter pain meds
My biggest issue was how cold it was in the room. I was shivering and worried I was moving around while they were trying to snip. Very odd to be awake when they are operating.
