I have the earlier model 56206 and the thing rocks. I’ve placed some very large and hard logs into it, and it has handled everything. My only complaint about the 56206 is that you need to use a short stool as it is so close to the ground. However, with the stand on the 56207 that problem should be remedied.

Not sure why you need such heavy duty equipment to split a log. Usually, if I have to break up one of mine, I poke at it with a wire hanger.

Was excited for a min but this seems too wimpy for my needs. Most are far more than 10" and some are oak too. Probably would make this thing cry and self-destruct.

AAR, have the 10 ton manual splitter from HF. Works great and I get some exercise.
