Nuttin yet…just rain puddles
Uh, my tulips and daffodils broke ground.
And it will rain/sleet/snow on Wed/Thurs.
So much for blooms in the spring. Ugh!

They could still grow well. The Daffodils just broke ground this week in my front yard. Tulips and Crocus happen tad later on. In the PNW we had terrible wind & rain storms for weeks. They do fine and maybe bloom a tad later and that extends the bloom enjoying time.

Sprouters will be fine on their own. The weeds are a good source for letting go your aggravations. Spring has always been my friend and nemesis.
We need a new pic!
May garlic made it through the winter…
Take that vampires!

I couldn’t believe the SQUARYLS were digging mine up and eating them. I hope they had to sleep alone.
Mine have been very safe, but I MUST keep the chickens away or they will eat them all.
I have a beer can, orange plow wands sprouting along the drive.
My bulbs have been trying to get some traction since the first warm up. Tulips poking through the snow, Violets were flowering until this last ice, snow event. What will this week bring? This weather is hard on my plants.
I was worried about mine, but they seem to be pushing up just fine. Last year, I had bloom issues, so I fertilized in the fall. We will see if that helps.
Meteorological Spring began March 1. The animals are ‘active’ again. Ground is thawed enough. Rains are coming in. Planting taters, spinach, sweet peas and onions today. Dirt under my fingernails. Perfect!
Sweet! We are almost there ourselves!
I will let the photos rip soon!
