Just so you know, I am still pulling this out of my flower bed every year. It is pretty, but DO NOT LET IT SEED. May my mistake be your lesson.

Yeah, you’ll never get rid of it. It comes up anywhere there’s bare dirt and loves growing under weed barrier. I think it’s edible.

Mint will go crazy by spreading everywhere unless you don’t mind or try to contain it
Being said, now I am thinking about a nice tall glass of mint tea!

Excellent advice and mine is definitely contained because it’s not leaving the flower pot. (None of my seedlings will leave their pots – I have no place to transplant them to. WYSIWYG.)

How true! One year I kept some beautiful flowers through the autumn cold spell. I used row cover. I used mulch. I used a blanket. I used a heat reflector during the day. They lived! They were beautiful! But Oh how creepy to see those vibrant flowers sprung surrounded by a sea of dead stuff. (Like Audrey 2.)
