Is this a bad things happening when you drink it now question or you made bad decisions when drinking or got super sick so you can’t even smell it with out hazy memories reminding you that on the not going past your lips drink……

I only have one or two drinks a year at the most.I haven’t drank beer since 1979, and haven’t been drunk since 96. beer is my answer. Or wine. Or Kaluha.

Drank a bunch of shots of Liquid Cocaine at a strip club. Best night ever. Passed out in the bushes outside, with a shirt signed by all the dancers, and a state cop drove me home. Don’t remember what happened in the club, but it had to be good.

Southern Comfort is my kryptonite. The mere thought of it makes me want to projectile vomit.
I’ll never drink Skyy vodka again either after having a severe allergic reaction to it. I had hives the size of dinner plates erupt all over my body - even the hives had hives! I tried it again a day or two later because I couldn’t believe I was allergic to the vodka of all things. Sure enough, it was the friggin’ Skyy vodka! Thank God I had a bottle of benadryl or I would have been in the ER for sure that first night. I wisely only took a sip the second night to confirm. It was back to Stoli after that.

Tequila, classic salt, lime, shot. I wasn’t buying and friends kept them coming. Embarrassing, but no one gave me any blowback. They understood I was in the divorce process

In a vibrant alcohol testing period during University the only time I had tequila was also the ONLY time I had to ask others what I’d done the night before.
Nope. Not even once since, and that was in the late 1980s!
Plus that was the worst hangover I’ve ever experienced! I’m allergic to hops, of all things, so beer has never been an option for me. BYOB and keggers were bring my own harder stuff, or wine coolers. (Anyone else here old enough to remember those? Bartles & James FTW!)
I still think there should have been a little extra stipend in my student loans since I couldn’t leach off the keggers. (JK, obv)

My answer would be straight vodka. Not necessarily due taste. It is more the memories associated with that particular times.
