Most people don’t know these were invented in Germany in the 1960s before they ever appeared in the USA. And the correct pronunciation is GOO-me bear. NOT gummy bear.

It’s unfortunate that most people voting in this poll probably haven’t tried more than one or two of these brands and make the decision that their go-to is the best.

As a gummi connoisseur I can assure you that Albanese are the best standard gummi bear. For those who haven’t tried them, just know they have twelve flavors in one bag!

Albanese are my favorites, too. Great flavors, great texture, just the right amount of chewiness.

None. They’re all bad.

Trader Joe’s used to have THE BEST sour “Ts & Js”. I was very disappointed when they stopped carrying them about 5 years ago.

Actually the 1920’s. Gummibär (goomy) is correct meaning rubber bear. German made Haribo’s have a stronger flavor that US made ones but if you really want something good try the Milchbären

When I was a kid there was a candy store in Ludwigsburg that hand made them from fresh pressed French grapes. Never had anything like it since. If you arrived early enough you could get them fresh made.

If you ever find yourself in Nashville, there’s a tiny candy shop in an area of downtown called The Arcade. Hands down the BEST gummy bears you will find.

I don’t know the brand, but any gummy that comes from the weed store!
