Also, came here to say bought many of them early June and was able to extend membership however went back to extend membership 3 months later most wouldn’t work. Found one which did. Now, 3 months later after that none of the remaining worked. Contacted customer care they said unfortunately your purchase was over 90 days ago and stated their is nothing they can do. Recommended me to contact manufacturer. Why would I know the manufacturer of the code generation nor how would I figure out that information?

Buying membership savings is not really a savings when the product bought is no longer valid after 90 days. Scammers!

I’ve already contacted customer service. Just adding to the codes were already redeemed list. I bought mine in the newer sale in December, and just remembered them today. Both were already redeemed according the Xbox redeem site. :confused: I forget for two weeks and its gone? weird. Just gonna wait for the response. Too bad my account’s charging tomorrow for another month of Ultimate.

I bought two of these codes as gifts and when they tried to redeem them, it said they couldn’t be redeemed as they were for use in a different country other than the US. And now that it’s been like 91 days since I bought them, Woot is refusing to refund or replace codes that were never going to work! This is theft! Horrible customer service. Do not trust!!

Same thing happened to me! Over 90 days, out of luck! Fraud! I am disputing it with my credit card now since Woot is of NO help.

Exact same problem with same errors from November purchase. Just sent Woot an email. If they don’t do anything I’ll try to dispute with credit card.

I bought 8 of these and none of them are able to be redeemed. All say cant be redeemed in the country.

What country? Reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

Browser: Use the Woot! Customer Service form.

Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

Customer service is of no help apparently they say these only come with a 90 day warranty. However, nothing was said of such within my purchase. (See Image) Currently working with Microsoft Xbox regarding the already redeemed error. The rep said that some were promotional codes others were regular as that means anything to me. Of course they also said that department doesn’t work weekends as I’ve never heard that before. So here I sit waiting for a valid membership code not able to game over another weekend while everyone involved with this digital transaction sits holding onto my funds.

Add me to the list of code problems. I purchased 5 separate codes in 2024. 2x of them worked okay (ordered late September and early October)

Codes delivered to me in November and December do not work. 2x of them already redeemed by someone other than myself, as confirmed by Xbox support. 1x of them says it is for a different region and I cannot redeem it. I have submitted Woot customer service tickets for all 3, but thought I’d comment here as it seems some folks have been struggling with support on this one.

Customer support issued me 3 new codes for those that did not work. While this was a giant hassle, I can at least say it has been resolved. I should note that my purchases were within 90 days, so I can’t speak to your likelihood of success otherwise.

Sent customer service some replies from supposedly manufacturer regarding the order issue. Waiting for that response before disputing.

I purchased 2X of the 3month sub on October 9th and got the tracking codes in a few days. My subscription was not due to expire till now and hence I did not try to use the codes. I did not expect anything to be amiss since it was sold by Woot. I went to redeem the code to continue the subscription and I get this error message…
This code can’t be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account.

My account is in the USA. I purchased in the USA and am trying to redeem in the USA. This is definitely a scam! My first time purchasing these codes from Woot but not first time purchase with Woot. Never had a problem with any other purchase before. Very disappointing! I have reached out to customer service. If I dont get the money refunded, I will have to take it up with my credit card and lodge a complaint against Woot as well.

Have yet to hear back from woot customer service regarding this issue after giving information as to what microsoft xbox support rep said. Therefore, I will have to dispute this charge. How disgusted I am with the service I received after purchase of such digital goods. One should not offer something for sale if such vendor will just reissue those goods to others after a set amount of time with no guarantee the goods purchased will remain valid for an extended period. I avoid buying digital goods from who knows where that is why I opted to buy from woot what I thought was a trusted source of such goods. LESSON LEARNED!

I purchased 3 of these codes. All 3 say they are for a different region. I have reached out to customer service and am awaiting a reply.

I have emailed Woot support 3 times and have yet to receive any kind of response. Like others have said these codes simply do not work. I am in the US .

Ugh, I’m having the same issues here. There was NO INDICATION that these codes would be region-locked! I’m in the USA, purchased in the USA, want to use it in the USA.

Same issue here. Also in the USA and purchased int he USA…Bought two of them in Oct. and went to redeem them yesterday as I was at 36 months when bought them so thought no worries, I will hold on to them until needed…Thought I had nothing to worry about with Woot. Yesterday rolls around and I thought I would at least redeem one of them and sure enough…I get the “This code can’t be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account” I have reached out to support as well. Will be interesting if from what others say it is only 90 days since I was sold something that could NEVER be used period anytime at all.
