Use these once received. Waiting around too long will cause them to be non-transferable and already redeemed errors since vendor will reissue your product codes to other for order fulfilments. Such happened previously for me. Woot resorted back to 90 day warranty and wouldn’t take responsibility as well Microsoft support said nothing they could do contact the seller of such digital goods. Use them shortly after receiving the redemption information…just saying to avoid additional headaches!

Been without online membership since December as I had products that were already redeemed within months after purchase and couldn’t get what I paid for even after going back n fourth several times with woot and Microsoft. No telling who is actually fulfilling order obligations for woot. Only know they aren’t honest people as they reissue unused product codes to others.

Be careful with these. I waited 3 weeks to redeem and none worked from a prior deal.

FYI: these codes have been routinely dipping into the $25 range (after discount codes) on Eneba recently. I could understand paying the premium if you were buying from MS directly or an official retailer, but based on reading feedback from previous deals, Woot seems to be acting as essentially a grey market seller with these. So you may as well save the money and buy from Eneba.

Same caveat as always: always apply/use grey market codes as soon as you receive them. The longer you wait, the more likely it is the codes will be sold to someone else.

I’m glad I didn’t buy all 24 of these last time and try to get 6 years out of it (*since you can only maintain a 3-year credit). I considered it but decided that I should probably try to act my age by then.

I had the same experience. They said they were re-issuing codes to me, did too, but the ones they re-issues were also already redeemed/expired. That is fraud, plain and simple. Nowhere does it say codes expire in 3 weeks.

You can reach out to CS. They’ll likely ask to see a screen shot of the error showing your code.

I bought two of these and they both give the following message: “This code can’t be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account”. I live in the United States and I confirmed my XBox account is set to “United States”. I tried redeeming them 10 minutes after I got the email. Personally, I would not recommend purchasing these. It is not worth the hassle!

You need to contact customer service, they don’t monitor the forums.

They’ll have some options for you. Here’s the blurb.

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS.

Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

I just wanted to say that I bought 1 and it worked great. So not everyone is having difficulty with them. But I do feel sorry for the people that are having trouble. It is the tracking number that you input for anyone wondering

Oh no…I have a code I haven’t redeemed from the last sale

I get the same error when I tried to redeem mine as well. I sent a message to customer service, so we’ll see what they say about it.

How long after purchase do you get the email with the code in it? It’s been an hour. Should I cancel it before it’s too late?

I bought 2 codes and both were from the wrong region… update: fixed for me woot support sent me 2 more codes that did work in the USA
