12" Gel Mattress with Vented Cover (5-Sizes)

You could use the mattress on a box spring or platform bed.

I’m considering replacing my California King waterbed mattress which is in a hard wood sided pedestal. The depth and size of your mattress is perfect. I’m wondering if this would work?
Since it was holding a waterbed, I would assume that the base of the pedestal is supportive, so it should work.

Just curious, having purchased over a 100 times on WOOT, I’ve noticed its not the same anymore. Two of my last orders never shipped and when I asked for the product, they just issued refunds and later sold the same items on Sellout Woot. To lazy to look or just doesn’t care, either way I miss the old WOOT.

Anyone else?
Yes, That happened to me once or twice…same as you. :frowning: Despite my inquiries, etc…no apologies, just a refund…and one of the items became available again on another woot in a couple weeks- got conflicting support responses as to whether or not they’d honor the purchase and get me that particular item…then POOF, no, just a refund

Why is the waterproof mattress cover essential for any memory foam bed?
Basically, you want a breathable barrier cover for any bed, for several reasons. First of all, the mattress stays clean. Second, and somewhat gross, is the fact that humans constantly shed dead skin cells. These can get into the mattress and over time add a lot of yucky weight and general disgusting detritus to the mattress, and of course, invisible little skin mites feed on this stuff and suddenly you are sleeping with a whole crowd of microscopic critters. Not pretty, but there it is. Ick. Perhaps the cover being offered will suffice. I will defer to the manufacturer’s rep to answer this question.

Your fitted sheet would serve the same purpose as described above.

It is a matter of personal preference, you can use a mattress protector, or not.

Does the mattress contain VOCs?

It is produced using certified CertipurUS foam.

Can’t quite seem to catch the vendors attention-can you compare this to the 10" “Luxury Gel 10” Gel Memory Foam Mattress" that sold on 2/13/2014? Very pleased with that but looking to move up to a queen size.
Thanks

Yep, I liked it when the selection was way more limited and it was always a surprise to see what was there. Now the site is more like any other sale site/ad/circular. I still look daily but not as interesting.

Are there guidelines for using these mattresses with heated mattress pads or electric blankets?

Sorry about that!

Very similar mattress… An extra inch of gel foam, but it would be a similar feel.

I hope this helps!

Both can be used with this mattress, no restrictions.

What is the life expectancy?

According to some reviews, there seem to be some concerns in some reviews about the smell and how long it takes to dissipate for an average mattress. Would you comment on these, please?

Why doesn’t this have LUXURY in the title like many of the others from past sales?

The smell is minimal and dissipates quickly.

There is a 15yr warranty on the mattress, so it is expected to last a long time.

don’t buy anything from Woot you might have to return. returns are a major pain in the butt.

That made me chuckle

I am seriously considering this mattress. I just found these at another retailer and the reviews are insanely good… 4.5 to 5 stars across the board with hundreds of reviews on various mattresses by your company. It’s $100 cheaper here for a queen.

I DID NOT WANT TO SPEND THIS MUCH MONEY TODAY, WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME???

In for a king size. I was just researching mattresses today, and BOOM, here comes Woot!

So many good reviews in this discussion, hope to add another one. Thank you for answering all of these questions Vendor rep!

Which bed frame does the manufacturer recommend for this mattress. I would rather go with a manufacturers recommendation, than buy any metal frame on the internet.
