A similar story for me. I was in the market for a memory foam mattress and thought I might wait for a Woot deal, but my mattress was so shot I decided not to wait.
Bought a 10 incher (I think from the same manufacturer as this one) without gel. I think 10 inches is plenty, though. Mine is fairly firm, but I sleep fine on it. They do stink for a while after you take off the plastic.

15 year warrantee from woot? What does it cover?
15 year from woot? do we know woot will be here then (hopefully)? i REALLY want to like this deal and really would like to try one but i just cant without more info or reviews. i think i found a similar mattress but it may or may not be this same one and i cant take that chance. has anyone owned this exact model before or have these same ones been sold before so we can see some reviews from people?

My wife is pregnant. Does anyone know if the chemicals gases given off by a memory foam mattress harmful to an unborn baby? I’ve read that they can be, but I find conflicting information on the web.

This is a premium memory foam mattress and is made from the latest in sleep technology, gel memory foam.
I would consider this to be medium firmness.
This mattress passes all federal testing for safety, we are also a Certi-pur producer of memory foam. This means we pass additional testing to make sure the chemicals aren’t harmful.
Memory foam is produced from chemicals however, and there is a slight smell when unwrapped. I find our memory foam to have the least “new foam smell” in the marketplace.
I can say that we aired out our mattress for a day and my wife didn’t notice any smell.
We have two kids, including a two month old, and my wife slept on a memory foam mattress the whole pregnancy with no issues.
