(72 Count) AmazonBasics AA Alkaline Batteries

I just saw the advert for this in a “Mother’s Day” sale. I must be out of the loop, cause it seems like “moms” are using more batteries than EVER these days. What in the world could be burning through so many batteries?

Remote controls for their kids video game systems?

Why would having children mean you don’t use batteries?

Sorry to hear that happened to you, but that is NOT the norm. I’ve been using these for years now in remotes, LED candles, and the like. They even get frozen over the winter at our seasonal cottage and not a one has leaked.

I bought these once, but I won’t again.
These batteries don’t last. Now I buy the Costco Kirkland brand and they seem to last 3 times longer. You’re not saving money buying these if you have to use 3 times as many to get the longevity you want.

I’ve also used these for YEARS in many of the same little items - remotes, small flashlights, game console controllers, candles & lanterns, etc. Had previously been using Kirkland brand and these are easily just as good IMO.

Got mine today. Box was clearly opened before I received it as label covering the box opening was ripped open and very messily re-taped over. Had 2 small cardboard boxes inside on each end of the box with 4x6 packs in each as well as 3 loose 6-packs haphazardly in-between the nicely boxed packs, so was missing 6 batteries after all was said and done. No way to tell if UPS folks busted it open in transit or if it left warehouse like that.

Hi there. If you haven’t already, please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

Browser: Use the Woot! Customer Service form.

Woot! App: Choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Self-Return: Items without Li-Ion batteries can be self-returned within 30 days. Go to your Order Details to get started. The return label will be emailed from UPS, not Woot.

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Similar to my box, although I only wound up with 24 total. Refund was quick and easy though.

Good answer! But it wasn’t the one I was looking for…

Wait, what? Who said having children would equate to not using batteries. Either my communication skills are atrocious, or somebody was reading another conversation, or I totally have no clue as to what I’m doing here? This is W, formerly known as Woot, formally known as the Whootie correct?

I’m guessing someone else needed batteries too then. Kids these days. No respect. No respect I’ll tell ya!

I don’t know what answer you were looking for.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
