If this 2019 version, chances are the seed pods will be out of date since they usually only last a year. Is this a correct assumption?

I have had my seed storage last 3-10 years. Example, one year I let my basil bloom to get seeds and they still work. That was 2011 and they still germinate, or maybe I am special.
I already have 3 of the harvest model i bought from woot open box. Dont know the year on those but the 1st 2 had 2 pods each that never grew. The 3rd one i just got and setup so need 3 wait & c on that one. The lettuce and basil in the 1st 2 r doing great, we r already eating off them

Yeah, i also have certain seed lasting years. Many tho r only good 4 1 year (seed in packages). Since the actually seed is already n the pods with these units, no sure how long they will last exposed.

Fyi 4 other wooters - i bought the 50 pak pod set from the mothership. This allows you to plant with ur own seeds n these pods and units! They also have the gallon fertilizer which is cost effective if u have several of these going at the same time (like i do). It is also worth noting, once the plants get 2 growing big, they need more water replacement and fertizer (possibly less than the 2 week norm). We eat off of these nearly daily.
