This listing is confusing… It says refurbished, but “New, Open Box” on the description. It also has a link to purchase a Asurion warranty, but on the FAQs it states “Open Box Clearance products are not eligible for Asurion protection plan”…
When you say the “paper tray” is missing, does that mean the clear one at the bottom (not shown here, but visible in pics in the Amazon listing)? Or the one at the top that holds the pages to be scanned in place (visible in these pics)?
Because it seems like lacking the bottom tray would indeed be no big deal, but missing the feeder tray would be a huge deal. Just checking …
it is missing the additional plastic tray at the bottom. it is a curved clear piece for the papers to fall to.
Mine arrived DOA, it reboots every second after you power it one and there nothing you can do even after installing the drivers.

Mine also arrived without the “Stacker tray”. The Stacker Tray is the curved piece of plastic (slightly larger than letter sized paper) that catches multiple pages as they egress from the machine after being scanned.
