Technically “GPS only” will not have the red-lined Digital Crown, right?
I don’t know if the Stainless Steel S6 came only in “GPS + Cellular” like later models. According to this it did.
(EDIT) I suspect the vendor is attaching incorrect photos to the listing. Pictures and descriptions of the Apple Watch listings are inconsistent with Apple’s published model specs.
I have an Apple Watch S6 (GPS only) that I purchased a couple of years ago and it has the red-lined digital crown. Hope that helps.
And you’re sure it doesn’t have cellular capability? You can tell in Watch app, General, About. You would see an entry for the IMEI. You can also compare your model number with the page I linked.
Let me know if you find a GPS-only model listed that specifies a crown with red line, I might’ve overlooked one.
IF … someone refurbed a GPS-only Watch with a red line Digital Crown, I’d be very suspicious about any other parts they may’ve used.
The red circle pictured indicates the cellular model, but the description says nothing….
