Apple Watch Series 8 Smart Watch [GPS + Cellular] - (Certified Reconditioned)

For those of you that purchased one of these certified reconditioned watches, please check your warranty period after setting up your watch.

The watch I received was in NEW condition with a 100% battery life showing. However, when I checked the warranty period, it was only until October 2024, about six months. Also, these watches should qualify for AppleCare, but I was not shown that option either.

I have contacted WOOT CS, and am waiting for their help.

Thank you for this info. I am assuming that pairing the watch to my iPhone is registering it. When I look at the watch app, that is where the short warranty is shown and also, there is no link to Apple care shown.

Is there another way or need to register the watch to get full warranty?

People have gotten the warranty info reset by reaching out to Apple with the order info printed in the format listed in the post which I quoted.

Thank you. I contacted apple support and sent them an electronic copy of WOOT receipt with watch SN written on it.

They immediately updated warranty and made the option to buy apple care+ possible.

Only took 5 minutes on the phone. Easy!
