WOOT, please advise if the watch has the Blood Oxygen sensor and app operational. If the model number ends in “LW/A” (the W is key) it doesn’t. And, apparently, if these were refurbed/touched by Apple and resold by Apple after Jan 18 2024, it doesn’t.
@warrenlms I’m guessing this is a NOPE.
Guessing only because following the “full specs” link to Apple’s page, there’s no mention of blood oxygen under the sensors or the apps sections.
Thanks.Yes the full specs do not mention it. That and no response from WOOT sure answers my question.
We do NOT think the Blood Oxygen sensor is enabled on these units sadly. Sorry
PRICE DROP!!! If you purchased these items at the prior high price, don’t worry about it, we’re already working on a partial refund for you for the difference. It should come through in the next few days. For everyone else, enjoy the lower price and happy shopping!!!
dumb question but is it worth it upgrading from a stainless series 7 to this?
Are these AppleCare + eligible?
Good morning. They are not.
I would say that is a great deal. Im on a 4 cellular 44mm, if i used my watch more often, I would absolutely take advantage. If you have $350 to burn, go for it!
Do these get a new battery as part of the “refurb” process?
No. The battery is tested to be at or above 80%.
Not sure what I was expecting “grade A” to be but I’m mildly disappointed with what I got. The body of the watch has the typical stainless steel swirl scratches but I was especially disappointed with the scratched sapphire glass watch face. I had a ss series 4 I replaced with this watch and still had yet to scratch the watch face since the ss models have the more durable sapphire glass. Meh, guess I’ll live but just a caution to anyone considering purchasing - I wouldn’t consider what I got a grade A.
Sorry for the condition. Please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).
Please allow 24-48h for them to respond.

What is the condition of a grade A refurbished? Does the watch have scratches like an S&D or I should expect a like new or open box condition product?
Below is a link to the Woot item condition glossary.
(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)
Thanks
This is not the same level of quality as a “Factory Reconditioned” item. I am disappointed that it comes with scratches and is not 100% battery health.
Why would the blood oxygen sensor not be enabled? I see Woot says it most likely is not. I have a much older series 6 I think that has it. I’m curious how you even knew to ask that. Now I’ll probably never buy a refurb watch. Edit: figured it out myself. Thanks for the heads up!!
From what I have read and with limited direct experience, if the model ends in LW/A the BO is disabled. If it ends in LL/A the app works. Would someone chime in with what model is being received?
