Bio Bidet Special Edition, Round

I can’t decide whether to put this in my garden or my tool she…oh wait, the firt Bidet woot NOT in T&G!!

Got it fast, install about 2/3rds done, only to realize that the model is the wrong one. It was supposed to be ROUND, and I got ELONGATED. Yes, yes, I know round is different looking than elongated, but when it comes to these bidets, they’re all elongated, but the round model is shorter than the elongated one.

Further, several parts were missing, the bolt guides, the batteries and the deodorizer cartridge. Interestingly the box was perfect, no dents, no holes, the bag inside was intact. The only logical conclusion is that those items were never included in the box to begin with from the factory.

Lastly, the box does not indicate which model you got, round or elongated. Neither does the manual, nor the bidet itself. You have to look at the back of the manual to get the specs, i.e., the length of the unit to realize that the unit is one or the other.

Getting stuck 2/3rds the way thru a toilet seat install is not very nice.

Bummer. Please email support@woot.com with your order info and situation; CS can review your options.

you MAY have a round! I purchased this very same unit and it doesn’t fit well. I have called Bio Bidet about this very issue and they are very helpful.
BB informed me, and they’re correct, that there is NO standard for dimensions of a round toilet the way there is for elongated. Round toilets, specifically the flange in the back where the seat attaches, can vary by a couple of inches! So my toilet is “short” between the tank and the rear edge of the rim…so my seat extends over the front edge, and the inside edge of the bowl is visible inside the seat…if you’re seeing the bowl rim inside your seat, you don’t necessarily have an elongated seat…I have two bidets (one round, one elongated)…the elongated seat would not be useable on my round toilet.

I have a bathroom remodel coming up and will swap my round toilet for an elongated chair height, BB has said they can send me out a new elongated seat/lid to attach to the bidet unit.

Thanks, but unfortunately, I measured the seat, and in the manual, the size of the unit and the size of the seat opening are of an ELONGATED unit and not the ROUND one.

I will try calling to see if they can send me a round seat, if that’s the only difference.

Emailed, and the response was, since they have no more round ones: a) keep the seat and we’ll make it good by giving you $50, or b) return it for a refund.

I laughed. Are they serious? Is anyone going to keep a $400 elongated seat on an expensive round toilet, or a round seat on an elongated toilet? We’re not talking a cheap $30 seat. You buy an expensive seat, you expect it to fit.

And what made me laugh even more, is that though CS says they don’t have a round one to send me, they still are selling round models. What?!?

If you are interested, contact Bio Bidet…they do pick up the phone and they very likely might offer you to swap the seat portion.

Thanks, I tried live chat, but it was down, so it went to email, and they have yet to contact me. I suppose I should call.
