Bird Feeding

Love the sun conure pair cuddling on the birdbath. They must’ve escaped their cage and are now f-r-e-e-e-e!

The peanut feeder here is excellent. I’ve had one in the backyard for a little over a year, and it works exactly as advertised. It’s essentially a cylinder within a cylinder, with a spring counterbalance. When a squirrel jumps on the “outer cylinder” his weight pulls down the sleeve and covers the peanuts. Works like a charm. With a little bit of tweaking, you can set it to resist the heavier birds like starlings, as well.
