Anyone know if this supports ONVIF?
No it is not supported.
What are these support types and what do they do?! I wasn’t aware to look for a support type when searching for a home security camera so I’m glad I saw this thread! I’m trying to find a comparable device to the ring camera that’s more affordable.
Blink system is compatible with Amazon devices and works Through your echo speakers and show Devices and affordable. I just saw deals on blink various systems and cameras Indoor and outdoor, and doorbell Ones on Amazon and on Here too. I think that there’s a 2 camera wireless blink camera system on woot now for 49$ but I’m not sure if it’s inside only or both. I have blink doorbell cams and a Slew of mini indoor ones inside my home and when Someone rings the doorbell, which is not wired (wireless) it chimes and the Sound comes through all the indoor blink mini cams so you don’t need to have a second part for the chime for wireless doorbell cam like you do for Ring cams unless you just have it come through your phone only. In comparison I think Blink cameras, doorbell cam, and indoor/outdoor system setups are way better and easier To use than Ring. Ntm, cheaper as long as you buy them at the right times. Best part is you don’t need a cloud subscription if you have the blink sync module 2 which you’ll need if you have more than two cameras with blink to integrate your blink devices into a system and combine all them into one home system viewing on the app. But the sync module has a usb port for storage options either flash drive up to I think 256 gb support or a Memory card/Micro SD placed in a flash drive usb adapter. That will allow your clips from your blink cameras and doorbell Rings footage to be saved and looped Once full to the storage device inserted into the sync module instead of paying every month for cloud storage that you forget about and increases Every six mos in price just another monthly subscription fee amongst the umpteen others we all forget about and tallied up cost us $100 and up wasted money. Anyhow… check out the blink systems and compare Then to ring.
How can I see this product on Amazon you can pass the link?
Hi there. Here it is on Amazon:
Thank you so much. I appreciate hearing your experience and some info from someone that owns a similar device to ring but cheaper. I’d rather not waste money on a subscription if I don’t have to. All these things add up so quick. I’m glad to know I can use Blink through the the Amazon devices. Thank you again!
