I’m assuming this plugs into an outlet. How long is the cord?
How many watts of power? It just says 3 settings. An outdoor heater should have at least 1200.
Looked it up on amazon. It’s 500 watts.
500 watts would be worthless outdoors.
It depends a little bit on if this is infrared or forced air. It’s not really clear.
But, you’re probably right. 
I use this in my 12x12 she shed for those cooler nights and so far it’s worked great.

Cord is uncertain. It’s not stated anywhere that we can find but we’ve added pics. We’re guessing 4 feet?
