While I can’t say certainly, the hardware specs seem to match up with the 7130. More so than they do with the 5130. Take a look at the WiFi drivers available for both…
[/quote]
The 5130 is the BayTrail version, 7130 is i3 & i5. I have this exact configuration of the tablet and it is the 7130 with vPro.
I bought a Venue 11 pro recently. NOT this version, but the Baytrail 5130. I’ve never had a tablet before, and I needed Windows to log on to wifi where I work. I was NOT impressed. In fact, I sent it back. Although I had the 5130 Atom, my issues are also common on the Intel versions.
Wifi constantly dropped. I talked with tech support, and they tried to help fix it, but multiple driver updates, etc. did nothing. I looked around on forums, and it seemed like a widespread, serious problem.
Battery life was terrible. The tablet drained about 33% at night while sleeping. This is also a widespread problem, and difficult to fix. Mine had to do with the audio drivers, I think but I didn’t want to even start going down that rabbit hole.
Working in Windows with the touchscreen is a PITA. If you just stick with the Metro interface, it’s fine, but there aren’t that many apps.
About the only think I liked doing was browsing the internet. And even that was kind of weird. For instance, when you enter a search in the Google search box, the keyboard opens up, then shuts, and highlights the browser URL window. Then you have to open the keyboard and type in your google search query there. What a crock.
Other little annoying quirks like this that made the tablet a less-than-enjoyable experience. The wifi and battery were the dealbreaker though.
The stylus on these is extremely finicky and flaky, compared to the Wacom ones. No comparison. I love my tablet, but it just underperforms if you need that stylus.
Um, how about sharing the source for these really cheap SP1 tablets ??

Thanks. Unfortunately some really cheap SP1s just popped up on another website so my decision just got even harder.

Since Woot no longer has the keyboard, check the Microsoft Store for the mobile and slim keyboard if you need such accessories. They have them much cheaper than Dell.

Man woot really boned us this time, I bought the 128gb 4gb ram model for $30 less just two days ago, this is the first time they’ve offered this better one with double the ssd+ram for $30. F*** me. I really needed the 8gb >:(

Got mine yesterday. Same one, $30 less for 4GB ram and 128GB SSD. That sucks. I didn’t really need the 256GB SSD, but an extra 4GB of RAM would have been nice. So far, after one day I really like mine. It’s got the same processor as this, and flys thru full desktop webpages. Hasn’t dropped wifi on me once yet, and even gets a decent signal in the spot in my place where my phone can’t hold onto wifi. I was really happy with mine until I saw this sale.

Alas, the mobile keyboard is out of stock at the Microsoft store (and no obvious way to pre-order), and the one from Amazon Prime is shipping “in 1-2 months”.

No tracking information ever appeared online, but the box arrived on my doorstep today. I will look forward to trying it out tonight.

Okay, so mine is still installing updates (to Windows) and Office 2013 (which I purchased), but it is fast becoming clear that I will want to buy the keyboard.
I found the following coupon for 15% off ($24) off the full-price keyboard at Dell: KTKP175C93G21S
I get an extra 5% off for being affiliated with a university with a Dell contract, which brings the price to about $130. Not as good as the $70 advertised at the MS store, but they are out-of-stock with no ability to preorder and no idea when it will be in next.
Woot originated as a hacker term for root (or administrative) access to a computer. However, with the term as coincides with the gamer term, “w00t”.
“w00t” was originally an trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for “Wow, loot!” Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.Samsung Galaxy S6 edge cover
