I bought this one for the same price a couple of months ago. A couple of very minor scratches (I don’t notice them if I’m not looking specifically for blemishes) and they loaded it with windows 11 and not 10. They also didn’t run their out of the box experience tool so it automatically puts you in the main admin account and some script pops up the out of the box experience tool, but no crap about needing a Microsoft account thank God.
At worst if you really want 10 over 11 you can lift the windows key and reinstall 10 with it. You can also run the out of the box experience tool if they forgot to do it on yours too if you don’t want to go in and turn on things that are turned off by default like certain parts of windows defender.
Usually this isn’t necessary at all; since Windows 8, setup should automatically see an embedded key already.
To look up the 25-character key yourself, at the command prompt:
wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)
I just received mine. The exterior looks great just some minor scuffing on the top bezel, however the processor and ram are not the same as the description. The one I received has Intel on board and only 8GB of ram instead of 16GB.
