While I don’t have one personally, we do have one in our office - because there are some documents that are required to be faxed, because of security & privacy laws. It seems most people are using email-to-fax programs, but my boss is old school.
Nah, that was 2015, eight years ago.
I don’t need one.
My Mimeograph machine and a Carrier Pigeon do just fine.
I had one once but not anymore.
No all heroes wear capes. Thank you!

No, but some government offices refuse to accept PDF files via email. They require a fax. Those are the rare blue moon times when we Google how to send a fax by email since we have already forgotten how to do it from that last once in a blue moon time. Hard to believe right
I do have this guy from when I still had a desktop PC that he sat on top of. Couldn’t bear to throw him out he is so cute
I do have a fax machine built into my printer but it’s not hooked up to the copper in my house. Because I don’t use the copper phone lines in my house.
In the automotive repair industry there are still some dealership parts people who can’t email and ask for your fax number to send a diagram to. We have a fax machine at work too, but I’m not plugging it into the phone lines.
I sent them a fax of a llama wearing an ascot.
We need the wonderful folks at woot to scan and post the faxed responses!
Hehehehe fax machine!!!
Sure I will fax you my reply! That is all I need, another piece of my personal information in someone’s computer to be hacked. The smaller your social (or any other) footprint the better!
I think my printer also faxes? However, i don’t have a land-line, so…
I work for a Fortune 500 company and yes some departments still use a fax.
True, but the latency is quite high
Anywhere that legally requires privacy like doctors (HIPPA) or document authenticity for legal admirability admissibility (lawyers, banks, real estate) annoyingly still use fax machines.
Fax machines aren’t going away anytime soon, unless people adapt to a highly encrypted messaging program.
