No. I don’t trust myself on them. It feels like I’m going to fall backwards when I’m on one.

Yes, BUT, I did have to rescue a woman who’s maxi dress got caught on a crowded escalator once. I had to shove my way past her friend who went into full useless panic mode, and slap the emergency stop. Once everyone calmed down I used my multi-tool to cut her dress out of the teeth, with her permission.

Motorized stairs are fun. It’s better to just walk up the regular stairs though.

I do remember family members and friends trying to spread fear on being caught and sucked in. Yes, it is a moving part for loose clothing to be hazard, so it was a fear tactic grounded in reality. I trust them and tend to take steps as normal for double time rate.

I use escalators. They will never earn my trust. Be vigilant.

I trust escalators, but no one’s able to truly explain to me what happens when the basement, of these places, fills up with stairs…

Not a year goes by, not a year, that I don’t read about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid that could’ve been easily avoided had some parent, I don’t care which one, but some parent conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator!
