I always wondered about these. They had one set up at Costco the other day and it really put out a good amount of air, and it was silent and the air was, well, kind of soothingly smooth. I see the attraction, but just can’t handle the price.

Can you shout through it to turn your voice into the voice of an alien robot? Because that would be a sad future for the human race, being deprived of that experience.

FYI—these are the FIRST generation AM’s from Dyson. The second generation came out just a few months ago. They are 75% quieter !
