All men’s watches?

sigh

Finally!!! These are back on here, I didn’t have the funds last time they were on Woot. They were $49.99, now they are even $10 cheaper. Awesome, I am definitely getting me a new watch!

Welcome to, what has to be, the most confusing woot in history, friends!

Damn you Woot and my obsession with watches! They’re all just a bit too complex for me though.

Whaat… I can’t believe this. I recently bought the NG06GKBS over at woot.com for $49.99. Definitely worth it. Beautiful watch especially with an automatic movement. I just can’t believe there’s already a $10 price drop.

If anyone is thinking of getting the NG06GKBS I highly recommend it. It’s a nice, solid watch with a reliable automatic movement. I actually think it is a rebranded Orient watch so it is definitely of decent quality.

I’m just kicking myself for buying it so early… Oh well maybe I will take advantage of this price drop with another watch!

EDIT: I just wanted to add a little bit about the watch in case anyone’s on the fence about purchasing it. First off, for 39.99 it is definitely worth it. I have gotten many compliments about how classy it looks albeit sometimes I get funny comments about the National Geographic logo but the overall look is very nice. As for time keeping, it is fairly accurate. As with any automatic it is bound to vary a couple of seconds but for comparison I also own a Seiko Monster and I actually think this watch keeps better time than my Monster. The screw-down crown is very solid and smooth, when in the out position it doesn’t feel loose and changing the time and date is very solid as well. The power reserve is also a very nice feature, although if you plan on wearing this everyday it isn’t something you need to worry about since it keeps a good forty hours with of power. All in all, a very good watch to have, and for 39.99 it is practically a steal. I would get another one but I would simply have no use for two watches exactly the same.

That is a lot of watches. Might want to consider starting watch.woot.com

Yes, I picked up a Pharoah last time, it’s beautiful watch, works fantastically, and it looks great on a woman’s wrist! Had to get a link or two taken out, but well worth it!

has anyone had one before? do they keep good time?

Thanks I was just going to ask which watch isn’t a battery powered junker…Awesome getting one maybe two for sure.

I could make serious use of the hikemaster, but if anybody could answer two questions first, that’d be ideal.

How accurate can the measurements on a wristwatch be? If it gives me a temperature or altitude, can I count on it being reasonably accurate?

And it looks pretty sweatily-uncomfortable, but I imagine they’d only make the watch band out of a different material from the rest if they had a reason to. Can anybody testify to it being more comfortable than it looks?

Maybe with a slide rule watch I can finally have the ultimate multi-tasker on the end of my sleeve while still looking stylish.

It seems Egana went bankrupt. That may be the reason for the insanely good prices.

Yeah it is, my brother paid $200(oops, he said he “only” paid $151 with tax. lol) on a clearance for his! HAH! He’s gonna crap his pants when I tell them they have them here for $45 shipped.

I’ll stick with my Movado, but this one is nice. =)

So which one of these sports the best compass? I mean, I realize you can only get so much performance out of a compass, so the question of best becomes largely subjective, but I digress.

I hate the fact that I never wear watches. I got a Swiss Army watch from Marlboro, from the last (and final) catalog, and it’s still sitting in the box. If I was a watch guy, I’d probably buy like 3 of these.

In for 1 if i can ever decide, So Many Decisions, this is the hardest woot i’ve ever Had!!!

Hrm.

I’m kinda peeved that the Pharaoh (NG06GKBS) was sold out 15 minutes into the sale.

Did anyone get one or were they sold out from the get-go?

I’m wondering the same things about the hikemaster. I could really use that when I’m out sailing, especially the countdown part. That will be perfect for regatta starts. How good is the barometer? It’s always good to know when a storm is coming when I’m out on the lake.
