Some Amazon review mention “water smells plastic”. Is that the reason it is not sellable in some states? Amazon sells variation without plastic too.

I missed out on nothing even though this doesn’t ship to Illinois. I have this exact same kettle in use at home and it’s nice. Like the blue light when in use and boils water in minutes.
