Not a deal when I can buy them for $1.94 a battery at Sams and get free shipping.
I get mine from Sam’s as well. So yeah this price is a bit higher but not horribly so. Maybe an extra 20 cents per battery. I notice too that these batteries aren’t all that great in many products. I use these almost exclusively for Blink cameras because they are required. And I have them in a few devices where I am concerned about battery leakage ruining the device. But I find these will go dead just as fast as a normal alkaline battery in many devices. And that makes them a terrible deal to use in those devices which don’t really need them.
And again depends on what device you have them in. Some electronics have a continuous drawl from the power source. I’ve had these batteries in things over 10 years and are still good. It’s a crying shame they cost so much to have a great power and not ruin your device but it’s a small price to pay. Off to Sams…LOL
I received the packs I ordered last Saturday. Can confirm all in good order with correct expiration. Amazon did have a short lived Subscribe Save deal last week that was a bit cheaper so I will have a few more packs coming at the end of the month. 25 year shelf life so I am happy to keep additional on hand.
I buy these unsubscribe and save from Amazon For my blink cameras. A pack of eight is $16.51, so this WOOT deal costs slightly more than subscribe and save. Darn I was hoping to stock up since I have about 20 blink cameras.
This seems like a terrible deal for disposable batteries.
I came here to see if anyone was talking about or knew why the 8 pack has a 25 year shelf life while the 16 pack says 20 years?
Hello. Just thought that I would share that I have been using rechargeable lithiums in 8 Blink cameras & a Blink doorbell for about 3 years (only 2 years on the doorbell) and have had zero problems. Just for weather extreme information, we have had stretches of 100°+F in the summer & below 0°F in the winter with no notable effects.
@Wooter566711773 Hello, just thought that i would tag you on this post also to share possible money saving information with fellow Blink users.
Both packs had a 12/2048 expiration in terms of what I received. Stock photos are not always the exact item.
Specifically which brand of AA lithium rechargeable batteries are you using? I’ve had less than desired performance on the generic eBay and Amazon brands.
Fantastic batteries. What these buy you is the ability to not need to worry about batteries for a LONG while. As others have mentioned though, this price is TERRIBLE. Sam’s club has these for much cheaper.
I also have tried a few brands that I wasn’t happy with. The brand that has worked best for me & currently run in all of my cameras & have been for about 3 years now is Deleepow. They seem to have numerous models available on Amazon, but here is a link to the specific model that I use:
Deleepow Rechargeable AA Batteries USB 3400mWh AA Lithium Rechargeable Batteries 1500 Cycle with USB C Cable 4-Pack https://a.co/d/3MLpKY0
They may have newer models that work even better, or could be worse. These work well so I have not tried any of their others.
