These are all gen1 scopes. Here’s the difference among gens 1, 2, amd 3.

Awesome site and thanks for sharing.

To sum it up, they have an image with a comparison:

Hey, great find. I posted that on deals.woot so it can be shared with the rest of the community.

#7

^^ It looks to me like the item on Overstock is only 4x50, while the one here is 5x50. Maybe I’m reading it incorrectly or maybe one or the other website made a typo (does that ever happen?).

I do have to say that I find the difference between the Gen 1 available here and the Gen 3 to be alarming. It makes me wonder if my purchase here was so wise …

#8

Apparently you’re right. The one on Overstock is model number FF24063 and the one woot is offering is model number FF18063.

That 4x versus 5x really makes a huge difference in prices around the net.

Glad to help. Maybe I lose a QP for that, though! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Got mine the other day. Yes it is only generation 1 with its many limitations but for this kind of money Way Way Kool. Lighs up the woodline behind my house with no problems.
