Yep $12.99 for 1 at Walmart. So just the regular price on Woot. Another deceptive experience

Yes. Please provide a link to these supposedly $12-14 rechargeable First Alert fire extinguishers. Cheapest I could find was almost $30 for one at Walmart and Lowes. If you’re going to knock the prices, please make sure you have the correct product.
Are these the recalled ones?? Also, what is date of Manufacture? (How do we know these aren’t 3+ yrs old alrdy?). Pls advise…

Other than the hassle factor, my two that were under recall where replaced without trouble.
On another note, how (where) does one “recharge” a rechargeable extinguisher? Is it worth it versus buying another less expensive non-rechargeable?

These come on sale at Costco all the time for like 12.99. This not really much of a deal.
You can get them refilled at a fire supply company. There’s one ten minutes away from me.
For rechargeable extinguishers? There’s a difference.

Recharging is not as cheap as it once was, so it might be cheaper to buy POS non-rechargeables, rather than recharging, but the rechargeable ones are built better, and therefore more trustworthy.
The packaging was not quite adequate; a few bits broken off of the bracket! But, still usable.
I ordered 2 pairs, they were shipped in a factory box with the retail boxes ensconced within.
Seems the Hulk Smash shippers missed my box somehow.
