FitDesk v3.0 Desk Bike + Extension Kit

A whole lotta pieces…reviews said “easily assembled”…we’ll see…

Some quality control failures sure made assembly a pain. Luckily I have the tools and experience to make it work, but most people would have needed to exchange it. I mean things on preassembled parts that a human knew made the bike inoperable but they stuck it in the box anyway, leaving me to drill new holes in the metal pipe.

Aside from my irritation at the negligent assembly line individual, the product is designed to be easy to assemble. The instructions are clear, the bolts are already in the right holes (so you don’t have to guess which one is the right size)… they preassembled everything except the parts that make it too wide to fit in the box.

The product itself will take some use before I can review. I am pleased with the materials and design. I did notice that the resistance seems low - it feels like riding downhill until the highest two settings.

Mine arrived yesterday afternoon, other than a little difficulty getting the saddle post to slip into the frame I had no problem with assembly. Resistance settings seem to be working on mine, from nothing at the lowest setting to significant at the highest. Pretty quiet operation makes it easy to concentrate on whatever you’re working on on your computer or tablet.

Resistance is great. I take back my concern that it might be too title. 6/8 is plenty for my continuous use.
