Really do need the choice of milk only or dark only…
just sayin’
These are so evil… they are literally the best chocolate candies I’ve ever eaten…
So tempting to buy a box and finish it off…
How dare you woot! Some of us are still sticking to our new years resolution diets!!
I really don’t mean to blaspheme those people who worship these, but personally I found these ones from Sam’s Club just as good for a third the price. No dark chocolate though.
These are not good enough to justify the price. Plus, temperatures in Philly are already pushing 90(damn global warming). Not sure they will travel well.
I’m taking a chance on these because they’ve been really good in the past. However, it is pretty warm and the last batch I got were super hard (and therefore not as good) compared to what they used to be. Then there’s the jacked up price and the ridiculousness of needing a Wine.woot account separate from the woot account I’ve used for years. Why am I buying these again?
This
I swear, sometimes I think that Wooters must be the most broke people on the internet (I guess that’s why they’re on a deal website). $13.50/pound (after you factor out the included shipping) isn’t a lot of money for quality chocolate. I just looked at Amazon, and a 36-count pack of 1.55 oz Hershey bars is $21.79, which works out to .39/oz, or $6.24/lb. And that’s just plain chocolate. Hershey milk chocolate caramels (non-salted) are $16.49 for two 7.2 oz bags, which is more expensive than these.
Yeah, I’m sure that you could shop around and get better Hershey prices than I did with a quick search on Amazon. But seriously, this is not a bad deal.
These seriously don’t last long around the office.
oh, and this likely the last chocolate offer until like October.
Seriously Woot!? Now I have to have a mother ship account to buy things on woot? Not happening; resist the borg!
When they get to 95% discounted I might be interested. MAYBE!!!
Any chance that you’ll be selling the Dark Chocolate Ganache Truffles again? Those were incredible!
I like these a LOT but damn it’s hot around here…bring them back in November!
Yah people, quit coming on here just to complain. I often buy chocolates for people as gifts here in Portland, pay 3 - 4 bucks a piece. Paying for well sourced, well made candy seems expensive compared to the stuff at the gas station, but if you saw the cacao from start to finish you would understand.
These are perfect for Mother’s Day. My experience has been that these are worth the upscale price. I do wish that you could order milk, dark, or both like you could before.
I’ve bought these before and they’re good, but maybe I’m getting cheap because this seems overpriced. Not excited about the login creep either. Sad. I don’t want my Wooting merged with my amazon account. When it becomes mandatory, I don’t know what I will do. Probably register a new account out of spite.
I liked it when they also offered a mixed box of regular and dark. These are good. Buy them if your on the fence. You have spent $32 worse ways.
We’ve already hit 105. Still ordering them; they’ve survived such foul shipping temperatures before. Still have some in my freezer, but they make such popular hostess presents that I’m getting some more.
If they’re as good as the best batches I’ve had, even $31 is a screaming deal. But they used the be $23 and I’ve had some less than excellent batches lately. We will see in a week or two.
