How do these things stand up to temperatures of being under the seat in the winter and summer? Can I leave it plugged in to a lighter, or will that mess with the battery in it?

I’ve got a different brand one of the same category, and it’s survived (and worked) in Texas summer and winter with no issues. Cold will affect overall performance, but you could always tuck it in your shorts to warm it up if needed. Mine doesn’t need any kind of maintenance charging, once it’s charged and left alone, it pretty much stays charged until I need it.

These random names for Chinese products are pretty entertaining. This one is good but not as good as Chinese auto parts maker DickAss.

I just got one called High-Power. Considering what it is, I have to hope it’s correct!

Regardless if you ever use this to jump start your car, these portable jump starter packs make absolutely wonderful power banks for recharging your phone or tablet. They have about 10x the capacity for the same money which results in many more re-charge cycles than the smaller units. These are great for long trips, camping, delays in the airport, etc.

As a battery bank they are more than worth the money; being able to jump start your car is just an added bonus!
