Is this an LED flashlight?
If not, I’ll pass.
WOW it says professional grade. MUST be top of the line.
Not LED?
Not mini-MAG?
Anyone know if the parts are interchangeable with mini-MAG?
Looks good, might just have to get 3.

Professional? It uses AA cells! What’s the point of hitting someone with that! I guess it’s fine for mall cops, not real security guards.

can anyone say how bright this thing is?
2 AA batteries?
How long can a flashlight run on AA? 30 minutes if I’m lucky?
Over on Amazon… $6.75 (if buy 288!!)

(edit to clarify “buy in bulk” pricing)
I’d really like to know the lamp working voltage range (It looks like it’s probably unregulated) to see if it’ll work with certain lithium batteries.
Also: it looks like a minimag lookalike. There are many mods/additions for that flashlight. any chance they,d work here?
Also: this looks like a really really great deal. I might buy 3 (can never have too many flashlights.)
Also: the head probably fits over the tail so it can easily tailstand it “candle” mode (if you like candle mode -I don’t)
I wonder how useful the grip is?
Bottom line: buy 3 and go caving (or spelunking, whatever).
What is amateur grade aluminum?

That’s why mine takes the good ole C batteries and lots of em.
If it’s not led its not worth buying. 2xAA’s can last for a while though, even with a krypton bulb.

Naw, it’s got what I call an * Inky-Distant* bulb. The glowing filament type. like a mini maglight, I guess. Go score some batterys at Midnight
Box.
Only if you buy 288 of them. $8.50 for 1 + $9.13 shipping to my state
This is not an led flashlight, and if it was, it wouldn’t be any good anyway; it’s not wide enough to support an effective led array for what’d you’d expect in a flashlight like this. The Garritys I have are 9 leds for instance.
Garrity makes quality flashlights, and they’re serious about their lifetime warranties. I bought a bunch of led ones on ebay, and when one of the cases broke, all I did was mail in, and they mailed a brand new retail package back, complete with fresh batteries! These also seem to be a great clone of the mini MagLite.
I’m in for 3!
Ah, Mini-mag clone. But better since you can fight off superman with its krypton lite blub as opposed to a regular blub.
Which leaves the question… iz this legal?
