4.3 Stars over at The Home Depot

If it doesn’t have a Honda engine and a CAT pump, it stays on the shelf.

Exactly !
Especially since ya can buy one with the Honda engine for Less at Amazon !

I’ve owned smaller, lower pressure washers and found I had trouble keeping up with supply water, like it was starving the pump. Is that an issue with these higher pressure, higher volume washers? Can you supply enough feed water with normal household garden hoses? I realize different locals may have different water pressures and homes with varied plumbing diameters. Is there some standard required for these bigger units? It does not seem to be spec’d out as an issue. Thanks.

Where do you see that? And would you mind sharing a link? The only ones I can find on Amazon with a Honda engine and CAT pump are $700+…

The vendor says: “Our pressure washers are designed to give you up to the maximum PSI output (up to 3100 PSI for this unit). The unit comes with a 35’ hose that does hookup to your outside water source. The unit also comes with 5 separate nozzles that you are able to attach to the units ergonomic spray gun. With all of these units attached you will be able to meet any pressure washer needs you may have!”

The marquee brands are good for impressing your neighbors and bragging rights at the bar but lack of care and service will kill the expensive equipment just as fast as the knock offs. Depends what part of town you live in.

I bought a Dewalt from Home Depot, @3800 psi Honda engine Cat pump. I am NOT an idiot to this stuff (although please excuse any typos since I don’t have my eye cheaters handy!)
I was pressure washing and heard a clinkity clink and looked over and the cat. Pump contents JD exploded and were leaking . Well that callled it a day. Well Home Depot sent it to Atlanta which I was told was NOT an authorized repair center…so basically it is the place to reply back to the Home Depot I purchased it from claiming user error!!! WTH? I then realized the cat pump itself is about 500$. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. So I ordered me the special deal from Generac with a fancy wand and adjustable settings on the spray nozzle et.
If anyone out there reading this has a solution to replacing the cat pump at a reasonable price Please email me at [MOD: email removed]
Sincere thank you
