I don’t know about this heading into the Google hardware event
There’s been no word at all on Google updating this tablet, so I think it would be safe to assume that this is it for now.
From Google:
The OS update policy for the Pixel Tablet comes with:
- Software version updates for at least 3 years.
- Pixel security updates for at least 5 years from when the device first became available on the Google Store in the U.S. Updates may also include feature drops and other software updates.
This is currently $399 on the google store website and you get a choice of colors.
Well that’s $30 more, isn’t it?
What’s your point? You get a choice of colors for the thirty bucks and who want a white tablet and charger dock?

Not really sure why he’s being such a snark. It’s not an argument. It’s a simple fact. If you want a choice of colors, you can get them for another thirty bucks on the Google site. Apparently, he prefers being a wise guy.
