Each plant produces up to 4 pints of juicy blueberries each day!
Nobody else thought that was a lot? I think we can solve world hunger with these.

Note, I didn’t see the detailed planting instructions before I wrote up the following, but I still recommend doing research in your area for the best results for growing these blueberries:
I wondered if blueberries would grow well in my geographic area of Denver Colorado, so I did some research. Bottom line is that blueberries need a much lower pH level in the soil and the irrigation than is found here (5.5 - 6.0). Colorado State University (and others) have found ways to make blueberries grow in this area–it’s a significant bit of work, but it’s possible. I suggest doing a web search on growing blueberries in whatever area you live in to find out the best way to grow these.
Another thing I learned is that blueberries need multiple varieties in order to cross-pollinate and produce a better crop, so having the two varieties in this woot! offer is appreciated.
Yeah, that rather cracked me up too.
I have a row of 4 blueberry bushes that are about 8 years old, (including the same varieties being sold here) and we’re lucky to get 4 pints from one bush over the whole season.
That said, they’re hella tasty and I may jump on this to expand our existing crops.
whenever I see ‘up to’ I consider the next number to be a complete fabrication.
Do they require full sun (like in a field), or will they do well in a garden surrounded by trees?
From the features:
Plants grow in both the sun and shade, perfect for backyard or apartment
Do they make blueberry pop tarts?
Thank you for all the clarifications, TT. It charged me tax too though. Thank you.
What size are these? In other words how long are the stems from crown to tip?
and this is the reply I got re: tax
Hello there,
If an item is subject to sales tax in your state, tax is generally included with the price of each item. Items sold by Woot.com and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
If an item is subject to sales tax in the state to which the order is shipped, tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item. In accordance with state tax laws, the total selling price of an item will generally include item-level shipping and handling charges, item-level discounts, and an allocation of order-level shipping and handling charges and order-level discounts.
The amount of tax charged on your order will depend upon many factors including identity of the seller, type of item purchased, and destination of the shipment. Factors can change between the time you place an order and the time of credit card charge authorization, which could affect the calculation of sales taxes. The amount appearing on your order as Estimated Tax may differ from the sales taxes ultimately charged.
Should there be any further concerns please get in touch with us and we will be glad to assist you.
Are these blueberries a genetically modified variety?
Per the vendor, “These are not genetically modified at all.”
As someone noted, blueberries need acidic soil to thrive. I’ve seen them planted in NJ with a giant pot-full of peat moss around them.
They are 3-4 inches, arrived in a plastic bag and were not packed well enough to survive the shipping.
They are little twigs that will not produce any blueberries for at least a few years.
Go buy a mature plant from your local stores and save your time and money.
I received my order of 4 blueberry plants. They were shipped in a plastic envelope, no padding. The plants are bare root and are about 3 inches in length, taken from a cutting of a larger blueberry plant. 3 of my 4 plants were shipped in a little soil so the roots stayed slightly moist, one plant was not in any soil. The plant shipped/stored in no soil was light, dry and brittle and thus dead. I immediately potted the other 3 plants. I’m disappointed there was no attempt at shipping the 4th plant in soil to keep the plant alive.
I was also charged tax on edible plants.
I had the exact same problem. Two of my eight were brittle and had almost no soil on the root.
impressed with the pieces of plants that I received for the money. 4 plants in a small baggie.
Do not buy this, it’s a scam. You are not getting plans you are getting Micro plans 2" long that will grow to a level you can get blueberries in 2027.
Yuval.
just got mine, they are MAYBE about a year old. So, it’s going to be a while before they Produce Pints of berries / day. Like 5+ years.
Plants are 4 inches high. I did not expect large plants by 4". This is basically $1 per inch.
