Have you watched all of the "Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition" movies in a row?
Yup.
I only watched The Hobbit saga
Obviously. I am a man of culture.
Not with me.
I did watch normal LOTR and Hobbit series though.
I can proudly say that I have.
I can also proudly say that I slept for days immediately following that. I’m still tired.
Yes indeed. With a bunch of friends.
NEARLY 20 YEARS AGO NOW! Yipes. Makes me feel old.
(@WootBot must be asking because LotR: RotK came out in theaters exactly 20 years ago to the day - Dec 17, 2003)
Who else watched each of the 3 LotR movies the day they were released??
No, because I have a life. But I have watched all of the movies.
Obviously.
Maybe during the next big blizzard. My first experience “binging” movies was watching all 9 hours of “The Civil War” during the Blizzard of '93.
I listen to the LoTR books everyday. I put it on when I go to bed. Catch parts when I am between cycles. Then take in a few minutes before getting out of bed. Who knows what my sleeping subconscious is doing with it.
No, but I did watch all of season 5 of Buffy in under 24 hours once.
Did you watch Return of the King at midnight in theaters on the day it came out (20 years ago to the day)?
Man, I am having some major nostalgia remembering that! Me and my whole family (including my youngest brother, I think, who was only 8 years old!) went, and it was so amazinly exciting, and DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
Also, I got to go to Hobbiton in NZ last year. I figured it would just be a silly tourist thing that might be worth doing once, but wouldn’t be that great (was in NZ visiting family)… but actually I loved it. It was way fun to see everything and walk around there. It is amazingly beautiful. Having a pint at the Green Dragon Inn was an amazing way to end the tour.
Woah, impressive!
No I have not seen any of the movies. I have read all the books though.
I faintly remember those movies. It was something like 6-12 hours worth.
I saw them all in the theatre at the LOTR convention in Toronto. The extended version on the big screen!!!
