How S&D is S&D?

I’ve been eyeing an S&D phone for a while now, but I’m wary of buying a phone that looks like it has been through the wringer. Have any of you bought one of these, and what can I actually expect? I see the Woot description, but I don’t know what that actually means in practice. Can someone tell me their experience?

Thanks, Pepper, but I’m looking for someone who has actually ordered an S&D phone and can tell me how bad it is. The definitions are fine, but I would like to see it.

It’s gonna be hard to attract past buyers to your thread.

I’m sure you’ve already stalked the prior sales threads. Maybe post your question there but remember usually the happy people never post back. Sometimes they do, but mostly not.

I’ve had good luck with Woot refurbs on a lot of stuff but personally I don’t want to chance a used phone.

Yeah. It’s not one phone. It’s hundreds of phones. It’s not like going to a mom and pop shop and picking out the one you want from behind the counter.

But Woot’s CS people are good people.

I bought a S&D Pixel 2 back in 2019. It had a few dings on the corners but I put a case on it so you couldn’t see them. I just recently upgraded after nearly 4 years. It still works but the battery was starting to go. It wasn’t perfect but for the price it was well worth it.

I recently bought two Samsung S&D phones. We love them. Slapped glass cover and a case, you just do not see anything. The battery is good. No problems charging. No problems with the phone.

Using it now. I will do it again and upgrade when the price is right. :+1:

I’ve also had no issues with the s&d used iPhones I bought on woot.
