Frame size doesn’t appear to be listed. 29in is just the wheel size, which is the same regardless of if this is the 16, 17, 18, or 19in frame. Neat looking bike though.
Hi there. Per the vendor, this is a 19" frame.
What happens if I get the bike and it isn’t a good fit? Can it be returned? I haven’t purchased anything this expensive from Woot and am just trying to figure out if I would be out of luck
Howdy. Click here to see our return policy.
Make sure you save the box so you can box it back up.
Speaking from personal experience, yes. Customer service will help you out, but make sure you save the box and the packaging. It makes the process a lot easier.
(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
I bought this one last time around and I also had concerns about fit. I’m 5’ 6’ with a 30” inseam and in the end this bike fits me fine. I have the seat set about 3” above the lowest point. This gives my pedal stroke full extension and I can touch the ground on my tippy toes while seated.
This is my first ebike and it’s been fun commuting with it and just cruising around the neighborhood. It is throttle only and no pedal assist, but I think that’s a good thing for a first time ebike.
Here’s my post regarding sizing from a previous listing: Hurley Bike Hydrous 29E Electric BMX Street Cruiser - #5 by conradw
I bought the non ebike version of this last sale. It is different than any bike I’ve ridden before, but not in a bad way. Just takes a bit getting used to. Time to give the motorized one a whirl.
Also, funny that all the Amazon reviews are wooters. Haha.
Well, two of these showed up on my porch this morning… looking forward to getting them put together this weekend and trying them out
The wife was kinda worried about me buying another bike since I already have 4 of them… so I bought her one too. Seems to have helped.
Anyway, I can comment again about how things go and how they are if anyone is interested.
My SO was very displeased I bought yet another bike too. This is my second ebike and have 8 or 9 other bikes [including two full suspension 20" bmx bikes (yes you read that right)] I told her this one would primarily be for her and the tension eased a bit cause she liked the color. Haha.
I’d be interested to hear anyone’s thoughts. The geometry on this one will be a bit a different for me (I’m 5’11"). The handle bars may need to be swapped out for something a little more relaxing. My initial impressions make it seem a bit like they are ape hangers.
