I think it’s a cylon.

Yah… But not sure it’s worth $5 for shipping.

Well, dammit, I just spent that 600 dollars on my rent…

That better be the best damn cup of coffee I’ve ever had! Actually, I get it with my $25 coffee maker at work. Sorry, Woot.

We had an S9 (their $2000+ one that makes regular coffee too) at a company I was at a bit ago. These are not flawlessly reliable (50 person company, seemed to need to be sent back to the factory once a year), but they are AWESOME! Add beans and water, push the button, enjoy a truly quality cup. Milk frother works, but is not awesome. No stale coffee in the pot, and just a minute of waiting. Loved it.

Ah, finally, the day I’ve been waiting for! You see, ever since I got this new promotion as CEO of a Fortune 500 company and moved into my brand new penthouse on the upper levels of a fancy hotel in the south of France, my debonaire, buxom wife and I have been seeking a sleek, sexy new coffee maker that would complement our kitchen made entirely out of black marble and platinum (which in turn matches our collection of Rolls Royces). Alas, so many of them fail to meet our incredibly high standards. After all, how good could a coffee maker possibly be if it’s under $500? Hahaha! Not good at all I bet, not good at all! Ho-ho!

WOW, Starbucks prices don’t look so bad after all!

Then don’t get one of their cheaper ones! Really, you can fork over closer to $3000.

Impressa? Yes, very very much Impressa.

Is it just me or is this thing made from a highly modified tower computer chassis?

then why it show that no body buy it yet if you claim that you will buy 3 of them.

Someone talk to me about making an americano with this monster. Is it intuitive? How’s the quality of the end result?

i hate you.

I totally went “SQUEE!” when i saw the picture.

Then the page loaded, and crushed my newborn hopes beneath it’s massive price boot.

I think my neighbor just bought their 16 year old one of these. I couldn’t find the Subaru decal though … Must be on the back.

Oh christ this is so tempting. A company I do some consulting work for has a C9 sitting in their office, and it is freaking amazing.

This is cheap for a superautomatic, and why are people comparing this to a cheap coffeemaker? This makes espresso, which is far more difficult to make (correctly) than drip coffee.

It’s like comparing a Jetta to a 911. Some of us would rather have the Jetta, it’s cheap and dependable, but will never wow you. This Jura just might, unless you’re one of those people who thinks “expresso” is just bitter coffee.

That said, superautos break a lot. Get the Square Trade warranty if you buy this.
