Based on the specs, this won’t have either the manual or recipe booklet?
I can’t say for certain since I don’t work for Woot but I bought the same one through a different sale and it came with the manual, recipe book, several warning notices to scare you half to death, etc. The “in the box” description reads the same.
I didn’t get any farther in the instructions on mine than the 1000 Ways to Die - inspired section.
Is it nice? Less lethal than promised?
I haven’t been brave enough to use it yet. 
My wife uses ours every week, mostly as a pressure cooker. She loves the fact that she doesn’t have to plan out meals and defrost meat days in advance. She just throws frozen meats and whatever else she can find in this baby and have it ready in short order. She often looks for inspiration through instapot facebook groups.
All those wonderful warning are there just to cover their hineys in case you somehow find a way to blow yourself up. I wouldn’t be too afraid.
