anyone also have a DOA speaker? Any suggestions to try before I contact customer service? I have charged it. If I plug it in now the red light comes on then shortly after goes off. no response from any button tap, short or long press. thanks in advance.

Hi there. Try a good overnight charge before giving up on it. If no luck, reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).
From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.
In the Woot! App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

I was having trouble finding the power on function. In case that is the problem you’re having, long press the play/pause button. I know you said you had tried the long press option, but it won’t hurt to try it. The red light coming on is you’ve reached a full charge.
Hey thank you. The red light goes out shortly after plugging in. I’ve noticed the time it stays on differs according to how long it’s been plugged in out removed from charging. Does that mean it’s still not charged? Maybe the battery is no good. My pops races RC boats and flies planes. He can test every type of battery there is. I’ll have to pop it out and test it. I’ve already broken it down to check the connections. They’ve refunded me so if I can get it to work I’ll donate it to a toy drive this holiday season. That was the plan anyways.
Update, still nothing with 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 seconds long press on every button. I think the battery dried up in storage.
