Spend the two more bucks and get the J5 instead of the J3. The J5 sounds better.
Indeed higher up models are better, but, they are all out of blue! ![]()
I wanted to say that I purchased the J6M during the last Woot these were offered and I love them. I used the burn-in software available on their website and it actually made a significant difference. I use these more than my shure headphones now due to the better bass response.
I’m in to try out them based on price, impedance and frequency response. If the specs are accurate, they should work well. The low impedance means they will sound louder than many of my other headphones.
I’m hesitant to get earbuds - the iPod earbuds fall out of my left ear (it’s shaped differently or something, so they don’t stay in), but the design of these looks a little different. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Hey Woot, what sort of packaging do most of these come in? Any of them come in a retail box or blister pack? I’m looking at gifting them.
Does any one know if you can mute function with Android phones?
Blackberry Phone Controls:
Single Click: Answer Call, Mute Call, Call Waiting
Hold Button: End Call
Personally, I hate the earbuds shipped with iPod and iPhone. These in-ear earbuds are so much better. They usually come with 3 different size tips, so try each size.
I’m told that JLabs are packaged in their retail foil pack, not a box.
I’ve owned the originals, the J2, and J5. The J5 sounds best out of those, followed by the originals, then the J2’s. But I haven’t managed to get a pair of J5s to last longer than a month without breaking.
Good for phone, bad for music, the bass is way off. They will fall out of your ears if you use them while exercising.
If you use these for the phone, it’s probably going to be fine. But for music or when working out, forget it.
