K3 Waterproof Bags

Anybody find any history on these? Nothing on Amazon, eBags, etc. and my Google-fu is coming up blank.

New company?

How is it possible that both the 80 and 60 liter bags measure 24.4" x 11.41" x 20.47"?"

Thank you for checking in. The products offered today on Woot are the new 2013 product line just released into US market for 2013 season. The 2012 and previous product line was offered and reviews can be found with Sam’s Club, WM, Amazon and many other retailers. I hope this helps! Another fabulous product and value found today on Woot. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thank You.

Thank you for the product inquiry. Dims are very similar on the 60 and 80 liter capacity. The main difference is the roll down capacity. The 80 Liter bag has option to roll up or down and carry more product. ie- head on vacation, but bring back more than when you left? The top of bag can expand to carry additional goods. Also, a quick side note-the 80 liter can convert to back pack by utilizing closure system. More lifestyle shots to follow. I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thank You.

I found a few listed when I did a google search but no reviews to be found anywhere… I’m thinking about the personal 10L for when I go paddleboarding but would like to know more about it (is it going to beat my zip lock bags in one of the Wine woot Kiva Wine Tote tied to the board :P)

So what are the vertical dimensions (unrolled) of the 60 and 80 liter bags?

If it is converted to a backpack using the closure system, is it still waterproof? Thanks!

Upon closer examination of 80, 60 and 45 liter bags, I have noticed that the 60 has smaller patches under the webbing handles. Since it apparently has very similar dimensions to the 80, I’m beginning to fear it is a lemon. Too bad if so, given that I just bought the 60 thinking the volume was about right for my needs.

Thank you for your thoughts and opinions. Quite the contrary as the 60 Liter is one of the Top Sellers along with the 30 Liter Back Pack. Each of the bags were designed for specific purpose and request from our customer base. We manufacturer and private label for a number of companies and given the product success, we launched under our brand. Great products, great value! Let me know if you have any further questions or requests. Thank You

Thank You for the product inquiry. The products are waterproof regardless. The roll top closure system and product materials are the same throughout. The bags will actually float! Actually a thicker denier material than you see in North Face bags for less than 50% of the price. Check it out. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thank You

In for the 45L, backpack, and 1.5L pack. I figured these would work pretty well as travel bags for motorcycle trips/plane trips.

The backpack could be worn or just tied down to the bike on top of the smaller duffel. the 1.5 could fit nicely behind a small windshield and clip to the handlebars.

It was hard for me to talk myself out of getting the 80L bag for only $10 more, and even the 60L for only $5 more, but I just reminded myself about potential uses for these bags.

I think the 45Ls are safer to carry-on planes, and I’d rather fill one of them to the brim than to fill a 60L halfway and have too much extra empty space.

Hope it goes well!

I don’t own this bag, but I’ve owned similarly designed waterproof bags over the years, and they are awesome.

You can take them absolutely anywhere, the rubber-ish material is nearly indestructible, you can hose the things off to clean them, you can take them on any trip and know all your stuff will be dry, the bag won’t somehow come open, and your bag won’t be damaged.

If you’re on the fence and think this sort of luggage concept is for you, do it! I wish I had the dough, I’d buy two of the 80 l bags in a heartbeat!

What waterproof rating do these bags have on the 1-5 rating? Are they fully submersible?

How stinky is the poly chloride vinyl? Do these make your clothes reek of chemicals?

If it can keep liquids out, I would assume it can also keep liquids in, so the 1.5 liter size is just right for holding the contents of about two bottles of wine.

These are last year’s models from Walmart. Last year’s 60L bag is out of stock but last sold $2 cheaper. Although the official site has a higher price than this Woot deal, I don’t see these as much of a deal. I’d pass on this everyone.

@TheK3Company: None of these seem like airline friendly carry-on dimensions. Would you have any that would maximize capacity but still fit the carry-on requirements of most airlines (45" max L+W+H, generally around 22+14+9)?

Not sure how my fellow Wooters feel, but it sure would be helpful if more photos were included with the products offered. Show the features!!!
Seeing essentially the same view, but one in the snow is not really helpful
